Frequently asked questions

How do I enter the times?
Use seconds, as a range — 5-90 keeps from 5 seconds to 90 seconds. Leave the end off (5-) to keep everything from 5 seconds onward.
Why is the cut not exactly where I asked?
Trimming copies the original video rather than re-encoding it, and a copy can only start at a keyframe. The result plays for the length you asked for, but the very first moment may begin slightly earlier.
Are my files private?
Yes. Files are processed on our server and deleted automatically a short time later — we never store, read or share them.
